Eine Baumhaus Soliparty! Noch 3 Wochen Crowdfunding-Kampagne und noch 12 Wochen Bauarbeiten bis zur Eröffnung im September – das wollen wir feiern!

Dr. Alex Paterson (The Orb), die lebende Legende, ist zu Gast hier bei uns in Wedding’s Anita Berber.

Seit über 25 Jahren ist Alex ein echter Pionier der elektronischen Musikszene und immer noch in Topform und unterstützt uns mit einer seiner episch-transformativen Klangreisen…

Dr. Alex ist zurück in Berlin, der Wiege der Kreativität, wo er und Thomas Fehlmann, seinerseits zweitältestes Mitglied der Band “The Orb“, im Jahre 2015 ihre Veröffentlichung  “Moonbuilding 2703 AD” feierten – ein Synthie-lastiges Meisterwerk in Sachen psychedelischer Musik, düsteren Loops und Deep Ambient Klangtexturen. Unterstützt wird dies von schwingungsvollen Breakbeats und starken Basslines. Oder – wie Alex es in seinen eigenen Worten formulieren würde: “Es ist ein solides Musikstück, das zu einem achtbeinigen Mondfahrzeug mutiert und in kosmische Sphären in Millionen von Klängen, Mustern und Klangtexturen abhebt. Es kreist um den Kopf des Zuhörers um ihre Gehirne zu ihrer maximalen Kapazität neu zu verbinden und bringt sie dann, letztendlich zurück nach Hause.“

It’s time for the first Baumhaus Soli-Party! As we approach the final 3 weeks of our crowd-funding campaign and the last 12 weeks of construction and preparation before we open our doors in September, we want to inject some fresh fun energy into the mix.
 
We are pleased to present a living legend, 
Dr. Alex Paterson (The Orb) – Dj Set
 
Alex, a true pioneer in the electronic music scene for over 25 years, is still on top of his game and will grace us with one of his epic transformative journeys in support of the Baumhaus’ epic adventure to open this September.

Dr. Alex returns to Berlin, the womb of creativity where he and the second longest serving member of the Orb, Thomas Fehlmann, created their 2015 full length release, “Moonbuilding 2703 AD” – a major piece of psychedelic synth bliss, obscure loops and deep ambient textures, driven by swinging breakbeats and powerful bass lines. Or, as Alex says in his own words, “it’s a solid piece of music that mutates into an eight legged lunar Land Rover and takes off into a cosmic horizon of a million sounds, patterns and textures. It spins the listener on his/her head, rewiring their brains to maximum capacity, then brings them home, sweet home.”
