[:de]In den nächsten Wochen gibt es im Baumhaus viel zu tun! Wir haben aufregenden Neuigkeiten hinsichtlich der Baugenehmigung für den Raum erhalten und wollen in den nächsten Wochen Designkonzepte und Prototypen recherchieren, entwickeln und bauen, von Arbeitsplätzen und Möbeln bis zur Beleuchtung und vertikalen Gärten. Wir kontaktieren auch mögliche Sponsoren. Wenn ihr mithelfen möchtet, schaut mal unsere ‚Bauen’ Seite an um Möglichkeiten sich zu engagieren zu sehen. Hier könnt ihr auch die ‚Benötigte Dinge’ Seite anschauen.

Hier findet ihr das dritte Planungstreffen für die Permakultur und den vertikalen Garten im Baumhaus (20. Januar 19:00 – 21:00). Kommt vorbei wenn ihr Erfahrungen mit vertikalen Gärten habt oder einfach mehr darüber erfahren möchtet (Pflanzenarten, ästhetisches Design, Bewässerungssysteme, Permakultur)

Jeden Donnerstag von 17 bis 19 Uhr ist das Baumhaus offen für Besucher – kommt gern vorbei, erfahrt mehr über das Projekt und wie ihr es unterstützen könnt und trefft Menschen aus unserem Netzwerk.[:en]We’ve got a busy few weeks coming up at Das Baumhaus! [:de]Verbreitet mit uns am Samstag 19. die festliche Stimmung bei unserer Baumhaus Holiday Party! Kommt vorbei in der Gerichtstrasse 23 für Yoga, Kekse, Poesie, Jazz, Cocktails, Tanzen und mehr. Diese ist unsere letzte Veranstaltung in 2015, wo ihr einige interessante und coole Leute aus dem Baumhaus Netzwerk kennenlernen könnt.

Hier ein Paar Fotos von unserer neuen Veranstaltungsreihe ‚Sunday Afternoon’ beim art loft berlin. Der mit Weihnachtskugeln, Pinienzapfen und strahlenden Lichtern geschmückte Raum sah total wunderschön aus und die jazzigen Klängen vom Berliner Jazztrio „appletrio“ ließen exzellente Energie im Raum fließen. Wir haben Gin Tonics getrunken und an Leckereien wie hausgemachten Kanapees und Rotebeete-Quiche, die von Gin Events geliefert wurden, genascht. Viel lachende Gesichter und inspirierende Gespräche waren allerhand zu sehen und zu hören. Ein gemütlicher Chill mit alten und neuen Freunden – genau wie ein toller Sonntag Nachmittags verbracht werden sollte!

Verpasst nicht die zweite „Sunday Afternoon“, eine besondere kollaborative Nachbarschafts-Veranstaltungsreihe, im neuen Jahr.

[:en]Help to spread the Holiday cheer on Saturday the 19th at our Baumhaus Holiday Party! Come by to Gerichtstrasse 23 for yoga, cookies, jazz, poetry, cocktails, dancing and a whole lot more. This will be our last event of 2015, come meet some of the interesting people in our network.

The following photos are from our new event series ‘Sunday Afternoon’ at the art loft berlin. The space looked magical, complete with Christmas baubles, pinecones and flickering candelabra and jazzy sounds from Berlin jazz trio “appletrio” kept the good energy flowing all afternoon long. We sipped gin and tonics and feasted on treats of homemade bread canapés and beetroot quiche, provided by Gin Events. Laughter and inspiring conversation could be heard all around. A cosy chill-out with old and new friends – exactly how a Sunday afternoon should be spent!

Freiwillige, die bei der Zubereitung einer Mahlzeit helfen möchten, sind auch gerne gesehen!

Wir freuen uns sehr, Weltverbesserer*innen und Nachbar*innen aus aller Welt zu einer neuen Veranstaltungsserie einladen zu können! “Sunday Afternoon” ist im Kern eine recht einfache Idee: Jeden Monat will “art loft berlin” gute Leute zusammenbringen. Die sich gerne treffen und Wege erkunden wollen: Wie können wir alle mehr zusammenarbeiten und uns gegenseitig dabei helfen, unsere Nachbarschaft und ganz Berlin zu einem vernetzteren, ausgewogeneren und besseren Ort zum Leben, Arbeiten und Spielen zu machen.

Jedes Mal wird Live Musik gespielt, zur Inspiration und Anregung für neue Interaktion zwischen allen Gästen. Dieses Mal lässt das Berliner Jazzduo “appletreeo” exzellente Energie im Raum fliessen. Auf zukünftigen Veranstaltungen werden auch verschiedene Künstler, Designer und andere kreative Inspiration für soziale Impulse sorgen.

Und im Bereich der “Offenen Grüßzone” seid ihr besonders herzlich eingeladen, euch neuen Leuten vorzustellen!

Eintritt ist frei, Getränke organisiert unser Nachbarn Gin Event und ein Teil der Einnahmen geht an das Baumhausprojekt. Diese Veranstaltungen bieten auch eine Plattform für andere lokale Projekte und für alle, die mehr Sichtbarkeit, Unterstützung und Netzwerke suchen. Sunday Afternoon, a very special collaborative neighbourhood event series inspired by the Emergent Berlin Festival. (Facebook)

We are happy to invite change-makers and neighbours from all over to a new event series called “Sunday Afternoon”. The idea is quite simple: Once per month, the good people at art loft berlin would like to bring together other good people who would like to meet each other and find out how we can all collaborate with and support each other in our efforts to make our neighbourhoods and Berlin more connected, balanced and satisfying places to live work and play.

Each session will feature live music to help inspire and catalyze more emergent behaviour between guests. This time around “appletreeo” a local Berlin jazz trio will keep the good energy flowing. Future events will also feature different artists, designers and other creative inspirations to spark more quality interactions.

There will also be an “Open Greeting Zone” area at every event where its possible to introduce yourself to anyone and expect the same in return!

Entrance is free, the bar will be run by Gin Events and part of the proceeds from the bar will go towards supporting the Baumhaus project. Last week we had a great time with our adventures gathering materials form the Stattbad Wedding to give them some new life at Das Baumhaus. Thanks so much to Jochen Küpper for being our guide and historian!

Before we went gathering we enjoyed a North German green curry with fresh bio veggies from our local farmer just outside of Berlin. If you live in Wedding then stay tuned, we will be accepting new people inot our group soon…

After gathering wood, we had a really nice vocal improv groove session. It went so well that we are now going to start back up on a regular basis and even form an expert group for people who would llike to jam out and perform!

The last images are form the Share Fair 2015. It was like a big family reunion of hundreds of relatives in the sharing and sustainability community in Berlin. Bravo to all the organizers, sponsors and participants!

Wir machen weiter mit der Planung des Vertikalen Gartens am 02.12 um 19:00 Uhr: Wir wollen an Konzepten für ästhetisches Design, Pflanzenarten und Bewässerungssysteme weiterarbeiten, die wir beim ersten Treffen entwickelt haben. Wir sind gespannt und freuen uns auf Euch!
