Was können LebensMittelPunkte zur Ernährungswende beitragen? Der Dokumentarfilm „Seeds of Change“ begleitet Wissenschaftler*innen vom ZALF (Leibniz-Zentrum für Agrarlandschaftsforschung) bei der Wirkungsmessung des ersten LebensMittelPunkt-Prototypen Baumhaus im Wedding und portraitiert Menschen und ihre Aktivitäten in Berlin und Brandenburg beim Aufbau eines alternativen Lebensmittel-Netzwerks für die Transformation. Ein Film über die Regionalisierung des Ernährungssystems in Berlin-Brandenburg, das entstehende Netzwerk und die Beziehungen, die sich mit dem LebensMittelPunkt, Solawis und Menschen aus der Nachbarschaft entwickeln. Der Film wird an dem Abend erstmals öffentlich vorgeführt (Vorpremiere). Anschliessend diskutieren Vertreter*innen des Berliner LebensMittelPunkte-Netzwerkes, die Dokumentarfilmerin und die Forschenden. Alle sind herzlich eingeladen!

How can urban food hubs („LebensMittelPunkte“) contribute to the transformation of the food system? The documentary „Seeds of Change“ accompanies scientists from the ZALF (Leibniz Center for Agricultural Landscape Research) as they measure the social-ecological impact of the first urban food hub prototype at the Baumhaus in Berlin-Wedding and portraits people and their actions in Berlin and Brandenburg while building up an alternative food network to foster transformation. A film about the regionalization of the food system in Berlin-Brandenburg, the emerging network and relations formed by a food hub, CSA farms and people living in the urban area.

Join us for a sneak preview of the film! Afterwards, representatives of the Berlin Food Hub network, the documentary filmmaker and the researchers will be present for a talk and Q&A.
