Active Art Salon Nr. 7 & Maker Space with Repair Cafe

An Active Art Salon is like a playground for adults where participants provoke and inspire each other in thoughtful and creative ways, improvisationally or otherwise…

This will be an informal salon-style event. Each hour, a provocateur will have 2-5 minutes to present an interesting concept, idea, performance or expression as catalytic ‘food for thought’ for everyone else. This could be in the form of spoken word, sound, dance, video or whatever else you’d like.

After each provocation there will be a short Q & A discussion. Then, attendees, artists and creators are invited to utilize the input of the moment and transform the provocateur’s input into their chosen media (drawing, painting, writing, sculpting, conversation or just hanging out.)

Bring any materials you’ll need to enable your own creative exploration. Parts of the physical room will be your canvas. You can draw, paint, collage or hang things on designated walls and structures.

19:00 –  Arrival, Meet & Greet
20:00 – Active Art Salon event
22:30 – Social hang out soirée – we’ll have some drinks and hang out in the space

All night – Maker space and Repair Cafe: Baumhaus Nerd Division will be working on the main tree sentient lighting project. Bring your own project to work on or join in ours!

*If you would like to be a provocateur, you can either let us know in advance or on the night. The 3 provocateurs will be announced the day of the event.
