The latest renovation – adding form and function…
This Summer we are combining art, design, engineering and craft to create and install a 4 meter long, 13cm high, 2 cm wide curved fence with organically shaped holes along the outer edge of the narrow ‘s’ curved bar top up on the second level balcony of the Baumhaus. Special thanks to Julius Kraft for all his quality work and collaborative spirit during this process! Sometimes it’s fun to do some musical freestyle reflecting during the process… Here is some documentation of the process in photos, video and musical reflection…

The dust is just now starting to settle from our most recent major renovations to Baumhaus… Before we re-open this Spring, Baumhaus needs some more helping hands with detailing, cleaning, finishing, cooking, organizing, moving, simple building, processing up-cycled materials, painting and plenty more simple tasks…
We will focus on making space for our office / video mixing room plus some other functional and aesthetic details in the rest of the space. We look forward to seeing some familiar faces and meeting some new ones too!

Renovations on 3 levels… up to November 1, 2021
This Autumn we continued with functional installations to the second level and began the labor intensive process of clearing out and renovating the cellar into a workshop and veggie storage for our 5 CSA/SoLaWi groups… Nina also made some progress on the small bathroom mosaic thanks to all the volunteers who showed up to help cut tiles!
We were even able to host our regular community networking nights again; fantastic as usual!
Return of Thursday Community Networking Nights!
Community Networking Night is all about bringing people together from all walks of life who share a common desire: to do what they can to make the world a better place. Each Thursday evening the entire Baumhaus becomes an “Open Greeting Zone” where it is totally normal to introduce yourself to anyone else and expect the same in return. Enjoy meeting people in an authentic and informal atmosphere, developing organic relationships, sharing perspectives and collaboratively supporting each other.
